THIS WEEK AT CENTER SCHOOL Prom Tickets Go On Sale Monday, April 26 to Friday, May 7 $45 for Seniors, Juniors, and guests from other schools who are seniors and juniors; $55 for underclassmen and underclassmen guests. Monday May 10 to Friday, May 21 All tickets will be $55.
Early Dismissal Wednesday, April 28 – 2:00 pm Due to low student participation in the PE workshops, there will be no April 28th workshops. One hour early release (2pm) on that day.

VOLUNTEER AT TCS Senior Grad Night Seeking Door Prizes Calling all Senior Parents! Or any other parents for that matter! We are still seeking donations for door prizes for the Senior Grad night. We are half way to our goal! Suggested donations are restaurant, grocery, gas gift cards; MP3 players. We are open to any and all donations. Parent Volunteer Hours – Reminder! Don't forget to attend a CSCA Fund- Raiser Party in your neighborhood. Are you helping with setting one up? Then don't forget to advise TCS volunteer hours monitor, Nancy Hom at skallywag@comcast.net of your hours. She will record your time for our school. She also has forms she can send you to fill out electronically and email back, or you can print, handwrite your hours and turn in at school. Libby and Kathy have a clipboard in the CSCA mailbox with a volunteer hours log to enter in manually.
SERVICE LEARNING Remember! TCS students are required to complete 60 hours of community service before graduation. It's never too early to start! Cedar River Municipal Watershed Planting Saturday, May 8 - 9:00am to 2:30pm Cedar River Municipal Watershed ~ North Bend Join us for a day planting native trees and plants in the protected Municipal Watershed. As part of the Cedar River Habitat Conservation Plan, this project will help restore a decommissioned gravel road and stream crossing with native trees and shrubs and seed rich forest soils. A mini tour of a Lowland Old growth Forest will be included during lunch. Come prepared with sturdy shoes, long sleeve shirt, pants and a field lunch. Invasive Removal Saturday, May - 9:00am to 1:00pm Ricardi Reach ~ Maple Valley Join Friends of the Cedar River Watershed and King County at the beautiful Ricardi Reach Natural Area. We will be removing invasive blackberries from the dense native vegetation and laying some weed control fabric. This site has is part of a larger project; installing Large Woody Debris to help the river return to it’s natural, meandering course creating pools for habitat. Queen Anne Rotary Scholarship Deadline: May 11 Seniors, Don’t Miss Out! The Queen Anne Rotary is offering a $1,250 scholarship that is renewable for up to four years! The use of the funds are up to your discretion! If you are planning a career in Visual Arts, Music, Drama or Writing, please see Ms Quintana or Ms Sanusi for an application ASAP as the deadline is May 11th. How would you spend $1,250.00 every year for four years?
Sub Pop Records Scholarships There are three scholarships—one for $6,000, one for $4,000 and one for $3,000. To apply for these scholarships, you must be a resident of Washington or Oregon, and a graduating senior on your way to full-time enrollment at an accredited university or college.
