The Center School Field Day needs help with the following Field Day activities:
What does “help” mean? It means any of the following: obtaining supplies and bringing them to TCS; setting up at 8:30 on the 22nd; helping to officiate/facilitate/lead the activity (most activities last one hour); cleaning up at 1:30. Want to help but don’t see anything that gets you excited? Suggest a new activity! Help us end the 2009-10 school year on a high note! Please contact Vanessa Marfin at vamarfin@seattleschools.org or 898-2591 to get involved.
SERVICE LEARNING Remember! TCS students are required to complete 60 hours of community service before graduation. It's never too early to start! West Seattle YMCA Preschool Outdoor Camp West Seattle YMCA runs a preschool (ages 3 to 5) outdoor summer camp at Lincoln Park, from the end of June through August on Tues/Weds/Thurs mornings from 9 am-12pm. If you’d like to earn service learning hours spending a few weeks outdoors in the company of 20 preschool aged children, pick up a volunteer form at the West Seattle Y reception desk (same building as the pool), or contact Debbie Tamura at 935-6400 x 121.
